Interest rates
Simply contact your Global Markets Investments representative for NAB Term Deposits interest rates. Quotes are valid until 5pm on the day they are quoted.
• Interest on NAB Term Deposits is calculated daily and credited or paid as follows: – for terms of less than one year, interest is paid at the maturity of the term; and – for terms of one year or more, your clients’ interest is paid monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly.
• You will need to give your client the ‘Indicator Rates – Selected Term Deposit Products’ sheet. If your client’s deposit is for an amount or term not listed on the sheet, or you choose to rebate your commission, the applicable interest rate must be recorded in the section provided for on the sheet. If you rebate the commission payable by us, the interest rate is then increased by the corresponding rate of the commission. The ‘Indicator Rates – Select Term Deposit Products’ sheet forms part of the terms and conditions of the Term Deposit.
• Under the terms of the NAB Sub-Distribution Agreement, we can accept your instructions to raise a Term Deposit on behalf of your client. This will be processed at the agreed rate quoted on receipt of application monies. We’ll act on your word in relation to the information, notices, instructions and any other communications provided by you in relation to products covered by the Sub-Distribution Agreement.
